Sirloin Steak Open Faced Sandwiches
Served on gluten free Chia Bread from Udi's, this steak sandwich is the perfect pair with Roasted Tomato Basil Soup!

Instructions
Steak Preparation
  1. Season steak to taste with himalaya sea salt and ground black pepper
  2. Heat up grill to medium-high heat
  3. Grill the lean sirloin steak to desired temperature, I prefer medium-rare
Toast Bread
  1. Heat up griddle or large sautee pan
  2. Brush the Udi’s Millet Chia Seed Bread with coconut oil, sea salt and group black pepper. Place on griddle until toasted one side to your preference.
  3. Flip the toast and add fresh basil and sauteed onions
  4. Sautee 1/2 white onion to slightly brown color and add to Chia bread
Assembly
  1. Thinly slice the cooked steak and place on top of basil and onion side of the toast
  2. Add freshly sliced gouda cheese and cracked black pepper or crushed red pepper to taste
  3. Cover and melt the cheese
